Our mission…
To always push wake sports to new heights, to be relentless in everything we do, to be innovative and creative, and to always put out high quality products that we can be proud of and that exceed customer expectations every time!

The very beginning (a very brief description of a 10 year history)…
In 1998 after a six hour drive to Lake Powell and arriving very late at night, Wakeology was brought to life at the Ticaboo Lodge. It was there and then the name Wakeology came about and I was immediately stoked on it. For probably a year prior to Wakeology entering the scene, I had been drawing, designing and shaping wakeboards by hand. At that time the company was going under the name of Huffa Boards, but my gut instinct was telling me that this company needed a name that would be more easily identifiable by wakeboarders around the world. Enter a six hour drive/brainstorming session to one of the greatest lakes on the planet. Enter Wakeology! (Huffa is now a sister company to Wakeology offering longboards and skateboards. www.huffa.com)

The early years were all about enjoying the sport I loved and having a little business that I was passionate about. The company was founded on this passion and enjoyment which was perfect at the time and the sole reason Wakeology was started the first place. But as 10 years passed there was an “itch” to do more, it was time to step up our game, and it was time for Wakeology to become a better ambassador for the sport.

Now, and moving forward…
We are super stoked to be a new face in the industry and to make some noise in the wake scene. We look forward to coming up with new ideas, new board shapes and designs, and new ways to promote the sport. We are working all hours of the day because there is so much to be done. We are fully committed and we are never going to look back. We were on fire, we are on fire, and we will work hard to make sure that fire never burns out! We are passionate about water sports! We are passionate about innovation! We are relentless!

The Wakeology Crew feels very lucky to be working in an industry that we all love. We are all riders… not all professional riders but we are equally passionate about the sport we love. We are excited to meet riders around the world and shred their home town lakes with them. We will never ignore the person who loves the sport but will never be a pro. For all of those who are progressing the sport through camps, education, products that benefit the sport, grassroots tournaments, even just being an ambassador to the sport where you live by bringing new faces out on the lake… we appreciate you and consider you a friend.
