From time to time we will be featuring Wakeology Team Riders. First on this list is Dane Goodwin from White Lake, North Carolina. Dane has been with the team for a couple of years now and is definitely someone you want to ride with if you are in his area. Not only does Dane throw down but he is a really cool guy. We asked Wake Army Team Rider Dane Goodwin what his plans are for this summer and this is the run down:

In 2011 I will set out to accomplish several objectives. First I plan on promoting the growth and momentum of Wakeology through my general riding, competition wins, and charisma. This summer I also plan on learning a few more mobes and technical spins for competition, and then some random freestyle flat tricks for originality and for the sake of good video footage.

This past January I received my personal trainer certification, so to earn gas money this summer I will be working as a trainer for my clients. I will also be part time life guarding on the weekends.
I also plan on teaching wakeboarding lessons for fun and additional gas money. Me and my friends Tripp and Quinn Lancaster (aka Team Asia) have made pretty good money coaching in the past and will continue to do that this coming summer, and also promote Wakeology in the process.

Once school lets out this summer I also plan on taking my band on the road for somewhat of a “tour”, which will probably consist of house parties and club venues. (No arenas yet haha) I hope to establish some street cred with the band through our shows, through word of mouth, and hopefully have a demo cd recorded somewhere in the middle for further promotion.
